2. These Terms
These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you visit our website, create an account or purchase a product from us.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Return and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
3. Using Our Website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully;
-
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems;
-
Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
-
Interfere with the website’s operation or security;
-
Collect information about other users without permission;
-
Copy or commercially exploit any part of the website without our written permission; or
-
Use automated systems to access the website in a way that places an unreasonable burden on our services or breaches applicable law.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business.
4. Eligibility and Customer Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.
If you create an account, you are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate and current information;
-
Keeping your login details confidential; and
-
Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.
5. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements and prices are accurate.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device settings and lighting. Packaging may also differ from images shown, provided this does not materially change the product.
Any minor variation will not affect your statutory rights. Products supplied by us must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us, as required by applicable consumer law.
We may update product information or discontinue products at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
After placing an order, you may receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation accepting your order.
Please check your order details carefully before submitting your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at support@tepre.co.uk.
7. Accepting or Cancelling an Order
We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch for a legitimate reason, including where:
-
A product is unavailable;
-
We cannot authorise your payment;
-
The price or product information contains an obvious error;
-
We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
-
Delivery is unavailable to your address; or
-
You have ordered more than any stated purchase limit.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.
We will not cancel an accepted order without a legitimate reason.
8. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable, unless clearly stated otherwise.
Any delivery charges or other applicable charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your order. Standard UK delivery is currently free unless a different charge is clearly shown at checkout.
We may change our prices at any time, but price changes will not affect an order we have already accepted.
You must provide accurate billing and payment information and must be authorised to use the selected payment method.
If a displayed price is clearly incorrect and the error could reasonably have been recognised, we may cancel the order and refund any payment made.
9. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions, including expiry dates, product restrictions or minimum order values.
Unless stated otherwise:
-
Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
-
Only one promotional code may be used per order;
-
Codes cannot be applied retrospectively; and
-
We may withdraw a promotion where there is a genuine error, fraud or misuse.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Delivery
We deliver to the locations made available at checkout.
Any delivery date is an estimate unless we expressly agree that a particular date is guaranteed. We will deliver without undue delay and, unless another timeframe has been agreed, within 30 days after the contract is formed.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information supplied by you.
We remain responsible for the products while they are in transit. Risk passes to you when the products are delivered into your physical possession or to a person you nominated to receive them.
If you independently arrange for a carrier that we did not offer, risk may pass to you when the products are handed to that carrier, as permitted by law.
If delivery is significantly delayed, lost or unsuccessful, contact us at support@tepre.co.uk so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
11. Ownership of Products
You will own the products once we have received payment in full and the products have been delivered to you.
12. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
We offer a 30-day return policy, subject to the eligibility requirements in our Return and Refund Policy.
For most online purchases, UK consumers also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the products without giving a reason. These rights may be subject to legally permitted exceptions.
Instructions for cancelling an order, requesting a return and obtaining a refund are provided in our Return and Refund Policy, available on our website.
Our 30-day policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace or limit them.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
Please contact support@tepre.co.uk promptly if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or different from what you ordered.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable consumer law, you may be entitled to:
-
Reject the product and receive a refund;
-
Have the product repaired or replaced; or
-
Receive a price reduction or final right to reject.
We will cover reasonable return costs where products are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fail to comply with your statutory rights.
14. Product Safety and Care
You must use products in accordance with any instructions, warnings and care information supplied with them.
You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your intended use. This does not reduce our responsibility for products that are faulty, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise do not comply with applicable law.
15. Intellectual Property
The website and its contents—including the Tepre London name, branding, logos, product photographs, text, graphics, videos and website design—are owned by or licensed to Tepre Limited and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, sell or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Shopify and other third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
16. Reviews and Other Customer Content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to us, you confirm that:
-
The content is accurate and based on your genuine experience;
-
You own it or have permission to submit it;
-
It does not infringe anyone else’s rights;
-
It is not unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading or obscene; and
-
You have disclosed any incentive or compensation connected with the submission.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and use that content in connection with operating and promoting our business.
You continue to own your content. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties, including payment processors and delivery providers.
We are not responsible for the content or practices of independent third-party websites. Visiting those websites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
This does not exclude responsibility that we cannot lawfully exclude, including responsibility for third parties acting on our behalf in fulfilling your order.
18. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify supplies the technology used to operate the store, but products purchased through this website are sold by Tepre Limited.
Shopify is not the seller of our products and is not a party to the sales contract between you and Tepre Limited.
Your use of Shopify-supported features may also be subject to Shopify’s applicable terms and privacy information.
19. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and shared, and your rights in relation to it.
Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify and other service providers may process information as necessary to operate the website, process payments and fulfil orders.
Please review the Privacy Policy available on our website for further information.
20. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to correct material website errors once we become aware of them.
21. Our Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
-
Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
-
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
-
Breach of your statutory consumer rights; or
-
Defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
We supply products for private and domestic use. If you use a product for commercial, business or resale purposes, we will not be responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
22. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
If such an event affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effects.
If there is a substantial delay, you may have the right to cancel the affected order and receive a refund for products you have paid for but not received.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, website or legal obligations.
The version applying to your purchase will normally be the version in force when your order was accepted.
Any updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that you already have under an existing contract.
24. Transfer of Rights
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, provided this does not reduce your rights.
You may transfer your rights under these Terms where permitted by law or with our written agreement.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
26. No Waiver
If we delay enforcing any provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
27. Third-Party Rights
Except where expressly stated, no person other than you and Tepre Limited has the right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
28. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any contract between you and us are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you live elsewhere, you may also retain mandatory rights and access to courts provided by the laws of your country of residence.
Please contact us first if you have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it.
